Clothing and Accessories Consignment
When may I bring items to consign?
Items are accepted on Tuesdays from 8-2 and in some cases by appointment.
What types of clothing items may I bring?
We are currently accepting Fall women’s clothing. We will start accepting Spring items in February. We accept quality labels in excellent condition. Cleanly laundered, FREE FROM odors or overpowering fragrances and pressed. Labels must be intact. Please hang or fold clothing neatly. We will return your hangers to you.
How many items may I bring?
You can bring up to 40 items. If you have more than the allotted number, please reach out to schedule an appointment to be sure we can accommodate your needs.
How much of the sales price will I keep?
Consignors are paid 50% of the sales price for items.
How will I be paid?
By ACH or Venmo. You are welcome to come by any day that we are open to pick up your money for items that have sold. Your account balance may also be used as store credit. Special sales may be held at the discretion of the owner.
What is the markdown policy?
Items will be offered at full price for 60 days. After 2 months, items will be marked down 25%.
How long do you keep merchandise?
The consignment period is 90 days. It is up to each consignor to track the 90 days.
Items not sold or picked up after 90 days become the property of the store and will be DONATED to charity.
Who sets the prices for the items?
We do. Our policy is to price items at one half to one third of retail. If the item is new with tags, we may price it higher. We set the prices for all items. If you have an item that you wish a certain amount of money for please discuss it with the consignment specialist before leaving the item. If we feel we can not get you the price you want we will not accept the item.
GH holds our consignors in high regard and treats all consigned items with the utmost respect. While we will do our best to protect your consignment, GH is not responsible for any loss or damage to consigned items.
Our goal is to help you get the most value for your items, while making the process as stress-free as possible.
Brands
Brands/items we do not accept:
Target, Forever 21, Walmart, Old Navy, Kohl’s brands, Aerie (with the exception of some denim), SHEIN, Temu or similar items, traditional corporate wear (with the exception of some blazers) or Children’s items.
Brands that sell BEST are: Anthropologie brands, Crosby, Frank and Eileen, Lululemon and other premium active wear brands, Nordstrom brands, Premium Denim brands such as Mother or Frame, all leather or upscale footwear such as Frye, Ugg, cowboy boots and booties
